Workshops

AWARE® provides age-appropriate experiential and interactive workshops for teens and young adults in 6th grade through college, as well as trainings for parents and educators in the Greater Washington DC area, at public and private schools, congregations, youth groups, and camps. While creating a safe and open environment for discussion and learning, the goals for our unique workshops and trainings is for participants to increase their awareness about unhealthy relationships and feel empowered to recognize and utilize resources available to them.

We bring  AWARE® to work with our freshmen because we want to help them increase their awareness about what constitutes a healthy versus unhealthy relationship and begin to connect this to their own lives. Through the AWARE® program, students are able to develop the skills of identifying warning signs of abusive relationships and advocating for themselves or others to get support if needed.
